Pending Controls

Where quality-control records originate

Where Does a Quality Record Come From?

The quality screen is not intended for creating unrelated manual documents. Records that require control arrive from goods reception or production.

The primary task is to review pending records, enter test results and make a decision.

Menu Indicator

When controls are pending, a red indicator appears on the Quality Control menu group to notify the user that a new document requires attention.

Form Templates

Quality forms by material scope

Assigned Forms

A form template can be assigned to quality control and scoped to all materials, a material type or one specific material.

When a quality record opens, ManuFox shows active templates that match the material type and record.

Attention: If an expected form is missing, check its module assignment, scope type, material type and active template fields.

Decision Record

A quality approval or rejection is more than a status change. The decision retains the person, date, note, test results and related lots.

Approved lots become available in inventory; rejected lots remain blocked and visible in quality history.
